Most people would choose to purchase environmentally-friendly products if there were an easy way to find them. The typical consumer looking to Go Green is looking beyond their pocketbooks to larger issues like protecting the environment, global warming, and avoiding water and air pollution, and are most highly concerned about the environmental issues that hit closest to home.
The EcoStore is dedicated to providing one-stop retail locations where the 50-70% of Americans who are interested in green products can learn the strategies and corresponding products to transition their homes and lives into a healthier and more environmentally friendly state. The store will be the fusion of a learning and shopping experience where we actively educate and inform the consumer about the environmental implications of their historical purchasing choices then provide environmentally superior alternatives that positively impact the person, their home environment, or the environment in general.
Phase One of the EcoStore development is directly tied to a product launch. EcoStore has the unique opportunity to help launch a revolutionary product line of green energy products that use economical, portable and safe propane power for mainstream applications. These applications include the operation of many rotary devices such as string trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, weed cutters, chain saws, reciprocating or rotary saws, and power generators that use Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) as the fuel source in place of gasoline. The result is that these products are 96% cleaner than their gasoline equivalent.
Phase Two of the EcoStore development is to open a retail location, slated for the spring of 2009, in Austin, Texas which has a long history and reputation for being an extremely green and progressive city. It is the capitol of the State of Texas, home of the University of Texas, and corporate headquarters for Whole Foods Market, Dell Computers, and others. By locating in Austin, Texas, we believe that there will be immediate interest in the Lehr products from consumers, plus significant assistance in expanding the reach of the business through government and university assistance as the company educates the public about the availability of environmentally friendly alternatives. Being located in Austin allows us the opportunity to meet and interface with government officials, university personnel, and eco-friendly corporations to further the mission of the company. EcoStore seeks to expand to future locations through traditional company-owned stores, franchises, and partnering with eco-friendly businesses that are located in preferred markets.
