I have been rather busy lately and didn't make the time to update the blog. We exhibited at the San Antonio Home & Garden Show and the Austin Green Living Show on the weekend of Feb 27 - Mar 1. There was phenomenal interest in the Lehr EcoTrimmer. The general consensus is that the EcoTrimmer is "the coolest thing I've seen at the show".

Yesterday was an amazing day for me. It began at 4:30am when I awoke and my mind clicked on - no sense staying in bed. I made my way to the office by my usual 5:30am, and left for Austin at 7am. I had a 9am meeting with some architects and interior designers who were referred to me.

The show went very well. There was phenomenal interest in the EcoTrimmer. Tom Silva from This Old House stopped by the booth and was impressed with the technology. We unfortunately did not have any trimmers for sale yet, so we handed out brochures. We ran out on Saturday and had to start handing out business cards. Frank's seminars on Alternative Fuels for Outdoor Power Equipment on the Celebrity Stage went well and prompted some great questions. Scott Willey, President of Pristine Nutraceuticals attended the show with two of his products, Digestaqure and Priaxin.

This weekend, Jan 9th-11th is the Austin Spring Home and Garden Show and EcoStore is exhibiting. Everyone is very excited because this is our first public display of the EcoStore brand. We are launching the EcoTrimmer at the show and expectations are high. Frank is opening the Show's seminar presentations on Friday afternoon on the Celebrity Stage with a presentation on Alternative Fuels for Outdoor Power Equipment - Reducing Pollution of Outdoor Power Equipment. He is repeating the presentation on Sunday afternoon.
Off and Running

It is an exciting time here at EcoStore. We are intensely focused on completing our corporate development in time for the January arrival of our first order of 900 propane-powered string trimmers - the EcoTrimmer. EcoStore is one of the first retailer in the world to take delivery of the launch product in the revolutionary product line. This is an especially significant event for me because I have been involved with the manufacturer for nearly two years, but more importantly, the EcoTrimmer was wholly responsible for beginning my journey into environmentalism.
